Virtual Skull Practical - Mrs. Bianca Harris conducted a skull practical in Second Life for her first year dental hygiene students on September 19th, 2009. The students were able to test themselves with the different views of skulls posted in our virtual dental school. The students were able to roll over the red dots to learn the information about each section of the skull.
The students were divided in groups and tested using an Open Source annotated white board. Since we have several distance students in this program, this resource seemed best suited for this instructional task and learning objective.
